NAAU (the network for advanced architecture and urbanism) is a collaborative studio of architectural and urban design practitioners specialising in public and large scale urban projects. The studio has developed an international portfolio of work, and has a broad range of collective experience delivering projects in Australia, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. NAAU is a research focused organisation and is involved in teaching and research at several universities.
NAAU is led by Ben Milbourne, Edmund Carter, John Doyle and Laura Mártires, and incorporates the expertise of a broad network of staff, specialist consultants, collaborators in addition to the support of major research institutions including Tokyo Tech, RMIT, Monash and Melbourne Universities. The members of our team hold separate interests and expertise, with over 40 years of experience working in the world's most progressive design practices.
